What Is the Electronic Prescription Service?

The Electronic Prescription Service, commonly known as EPS, is an NHS system that allows GPs and other prescribers to send your prescription electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. This eliminates the need for paper prescriptions and makes collecting your medicines more convenient and efficient. How to Set Up Your EPS Nomination

Nominating Exwick Pharmacy as your EPS pharmacy is simple and free. You can do this by visiting us in person, by contacting your GP surgery and asking them to set up the nomination, or in some cases through the NHS App or your GP’s online patient portal. Once set up, all of your NHS prescriptions will be sent electronically to us whenever they are issued. There is no paper prescription to collect from the surgery.
